The daughter and wife of a minister Carolyn Allen is fully persuaded that as Christ taught and showed love and compassion to all people so shall she.
Trained up in the guidelines of Christ, baptized and confessed Christ at New Hope Baptist church at the age of 11, she rededicated her life to Christ in 1995 and became a member of New Mission Baptist church in Fayetteville NC under the Founding Pastor the late Walter O. Whitfield
As a member she has held various offices consisting of director of the adult choir and women's missionary union, adult Sunday school teacher, and alongside her husband she served as assistant director of the Children's Church department.
Minister Allen can often be heard singing powerful praises unto God as an anointed vocalist at the Whispering Pines Nursing Home where she joins her husband for ministering. Minister Allen also lead a monthly woman support ministry at College Lakes Recreation Center encouraging women through their brokenness.
God gave her a charge in 2007 to deliver the true gospel to his people, encouraging hearts with truth standing on Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." She was licensed to preach in 2013 at New Mission Baptist Church where she now serves.
She received her formal education from Fayetteville Technical Community College with a degree in Education and is a recent graduate of Carolina Bible College of Biblical studies with a degree in Biblical Studies and currently pursuing a minor in Biblical Counseling.
She is married to Reverend James Allen and the Mother of three, Calvin, Cedric, and Kennedy.
